I first saw Alison Krauss at a small blue grass festive in my area of southeast Michigan. I believe she was only 18(1989)at that time. But her musical talent and sweet to powerful vocals had the crowd in awe. I just remember the look on the peoples faces that they had seen and heard someone so talented and down to earth friendly that their jaws literally dropped. Now I was raised on rock my whole life but have enjoyed AKUS about as much as any artist out there, past or present.
This has been my favorite song for quite a while now. . . I love it! I love Allison, her voice is amazing!
This song is one of my favorites. With 1,000,000 hits and counting,Alison Krauss shows that she truly is a wonderful,talented singer and this song establishes why she is one of the best. She has so many other wonderful songs. I will be looking forward to enjoying her; A Hundred Miles Or More: Live From The Tracking Room DVD. Live is where Alison shines through,and she is one amazing fiddler!
